Dear Brunsting Family Members:
For all of you who have been anticipating this moment…the time has come! The phone lines are open -the hotel is ready to take our reservations.
TUSCANY SUITES AND CASINO
255 East Flamingo Road - Las Vegas, NV 89109
ROOM COMMITMENT / RATES
The above rates are based on single or double occupancy. There is an additional twenty-dollar ($20.00) per person per night charge for triple and quadruple occupancy. Children twelve (12) and under may share the same room with parents at no additional charge. Registered guests must be twenty-one (21) or older to in order to check-in. All rates are subject to Clark County room tax, presently at nine-percent (9%).
ROOM RESERVATION
You need to make your own reservations directly with the Tuscany. When making your room reservations, please specify how many people will be in each room. Call the Tuscany Room Reservations Department at 1-877-887-2261 (toll free) and ask for 2006 Brunsting Reunion Group Rates. Each reservation is required to provide a major credit card for the first night’s room and tax deposit, which will be charged in order to guarantee accommodations. All reservation requests must be received no later than thirty (30) days prior to your arrival date. Reservation requests received AFTER the 5/21/2006 cutoff date will only be confirmed on a space available basis at the prevailing rate available. Check-in time is after 3:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 NOON.
When making reservations, you need to request a smoking or non-smoking floor. There are 4 room types and all are different. They consist of 2 queens and a couch OR two queens with a sofa sleeper OR 1 king with a couch OR 1 king with a sofa sleeper. All of the rooms come with a small refrigerator, and some have a microwave. (You will need to request a room with the microwave.) No utensils are provided in the rooms. Please see the attached hotel campus layout for building locations.
All of the buildings are three (3) stories and are equipped with elevators.
CANCELLATION
Individual reservations may be cancelled without penalty up to seventy-two (72) hours prior to scheduled arrival. A Penalty charge in the amount equal to the first night’s room and tax will apply to cancellations received inside seventy-two (72) hours.
GENERAL INFORMATION
We are creating a Brunsting Family Calendar of birthdays, anniversaries and deaths. It will consist of some great family photos and memories. We need to know how many of you are interested in purchasing one. The estimated cost will be $15-20/ea. Dear Brunsting Family Members:
It's hard to believe that two years have passed and it's time again to prepare for our next family reunion. We've researched numerous destinations and believe the Tuscany Suites in Las
Vegas, Nevada is the best location to accommodate our growing family.
We will gather for three full days -- Tuesday, June 20, 2006 through Thursday, June 22, 2006. You may choose check-in Monday, June 19 after 4pm and/or stay through Friday, June 23rd.
Check-out time is 11am.
The Tuscany is centrally and conveniently located just three blocks east of the “Strip” (Las Vegas Blvd.) on Flamingo Road. The hotel is an “all suites” property that doesn't resemble the
typical Las Vegas hotel/casino. The hotel facility resembles condominiums with 14 three-story buildings that surround a large pool area and are separate from the casino. There are three
restaurants and a buffet, as well as beverages (juice bar, coffee bar and alcoholic) and snacks available in the pool area. An added benefit is the security of the hotel facility. You need a key
card to enter your building and room. Visit their website at www.tuscanylasvegas.com for an overview of the property. The “Virtual Tour” section provides a good idea as to the
spaciousness of the rooms.
We have contracted a group rate of $69 (+ 9% Nevada State tax) each night for two adults per suite. Children 12 & under stay free. Anyone over 13 years old staying in a parent's room will be
charged an additional $20 per person per night. No one under 21 can stay in a suite alone per Nevada state law.
All suites are available with either a king size bed or two double beds. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available. All rooms include a mini-fridge, small dining area, living area with
couch, and cable TV. Hide-a-beds are available upon request when making your reservation. Most rooms have a microwave, which is the only cooking appliance available. There are no
utensils provided. The bathroom has a separate tub and shower and a private toilet area.
For those of you interested in flying to Las Vegas, Allegiant Air flies to Las Vegas. Check out their website at www.allegiantair.com for rates. All other major airlines service McCarran
International Airport (LAS).
If you choose to fly, the necessity of renting a car is dependent upon your desire to visit various sites outside of the Las Vegas Strip. For local travel within the city, there is a monorail, as
well as numerous taxis and buses that provide transportation up and down the “Strip” to all hotel/casinos and attractions. There is also the option to walk; however the average high/low
temperature in Las Vegas for June is 99/72. A taxi from the airport to the hotel will average $15 each way. There is a Dollar Rental-a-Car desk at the Tuscany that offers a lower rate than the
airport.

For those of you who choose to drive, the Tuscany has ample parking with security.
So, get busy saving your money and preparing for a great time with the entire family. Another letter with information on local attractions and excursions and reservation information will be
sent out in the next few months.
